Project Description

FIRN. A CHOREOGRAPHIC DISCOURSE ON EXISTENCE

It melts. It quivers. It is able to destroy us. It needs firn.
Humans in a world in which the complexity and fragility of firn is the epitome of directions and in which dependencies become tangible. Or do the blue-green algae defrost again and thereby, in coexistence of stromatolites, new life emerges?
Physical stirring and outbursts within a space including a zoom lens.

*Firn is snow which survived at least one ablation period and which is formed when snow crystals melt into ice through recurring thawing and freezing.
